My biggest OCD issue is not with the car, but the service shop. I have an appointment to get the CV boot repaired but am worried the service tech/manager is going to go out and beat on it with a cold engine. Stupid huh? I let all my friends drive it but they respect the me and the car. Employees at dealerships not so much in my estimation. I knew a tech that joy rode a Dodge Viper and totaled it. It was in for a wiper motor repair which clearly didn't require a test drive. Another member here had a tech joyride his for 30 miles.

I am going to camp out and have eyes on it the whole time. OCD much?

I read the owners manual, with the MyKey option, it says you can set a speed limiter on the key you give them. I don't know if theres a minimum. I'd personally set it at 10-15mph.

OCD? We had the car delivered to the dealer with explicit instructions not to do a single thing to the car, aside from the PDI; no fuel, no wash/detail, no removal of the factory transportation tape and protective materials. We had the car transported to our home, where she was parked for five weeks (still without driving it), while waiting for our detail and full vehicle wrap appointment. She was then once again loaded in with Ferraris and other rarities in the enclosed transport to the detailer.

Fun note for you all: the paint job on our GT350s is better than a brand new $700,000 Ferrari F12 TDF that left when our car arrived. Ford is painting their cars right. No major paint correction needed, unlike Porsche, or Ferrari. Good job Ford.
Wow! That's awesome to hear.

Yeah, I'm going to bring my friend who a diagnosed OCD (treats his econobox better than a Porsche) to inspect my car at the dealer before I pay a red cent.

It drives me nuts that I have a three car garage with only two cars in it. I wax my 1:18 model cars.

I just set up for the lowest speed setting of 65mph. What a joke. Apparently the valet setting doesn't restrict performance at all. Oh well, I will camp out while getting the repair.

You can redline the hell out of 1st gear with that speed limit

Probably because of liability reasons.

Bought vinyl wheel covers. I wash and dry my wheels/brakes one at a time to help prevent rotor rust. I then put the covers over it after I am all done, and then I begin washing the car. My wheel covers didn't arrive today, so I ended up using trash bags this time around. Worked OK.

Ordered pressure washer and foam cannon, water filtration system, and Metro Master Blaster to create my own touch less car wash at home. Should work especially well after the car gets the Cquartz Finest coating.
