Bought a 2016 GT 350 with low milage in perfect shape. One odd thing though I notice is, when I start up for the first time in the morning, as I'm backing out of the driveway I hear what almost sounds like popcorn popping briefly (about 10 seconds) and sounds like it's coming from under the drivers side dash or thereabouts. It's like plastic sounding, very odd. Seems to only happen after a cold start.

Anyone with any ideas on this? Too green with the Shelby to know if it's common....thx

If it’s the same noise I’m thinking of - it’s a common “S550 occurrence” across the entire platform and all years.

It’s the center stack fascia and the surrounding plastics - almost sounds like a rock or pebble hitting glass, like a “crack”.

All of the plastics in those immediate areas are expanding/contracting due to the APIM and other related electronic heatsinks warming up.
