^^^ id also be interested to know that re: the rev hang. I'd imagine drag racers don't like it as it makes managing wheel spin more difficult. Otherwise I can't see any other reason as to why you wouldn't want it. Correct?

Hi Austin, I'm just about to have Shaun tune my stock GT 6spd Auto as well optimized for the road course and time attack. Did you have your rev-hang removed? Since you do road courses as well, do you prefer to have rev-hang to minimize throttle-off oversteer?
I just had the AED tune and GT350 setup installed so haven't been to the track yet. I didn't request to have the rev-hang enabled so by default its not there. That being said, I don't believe the Livernois tune had rev-hang enabled either and it worked very well for me. Probably a personal preference, but for me I wouldn't want rev hang in a track car - if I want to rotate the car with a delicate lift of the throttle that response is desirable, just have to be smooth and precise with your inputs.

Before and after my tune I had no issue with "rev hang" on a road course. Only time I had rev hang was with the FRPP Power Pack 2. Otherwise, switching gears too fast out there to care about rev hang between shifts and letting off the gas... goes into engine braking exactly when I'd expect. What I do want is my g'dam Coyote to get off its butt at lower RPMs... aaarrrg!

FYI the actual rev hang feature is enabled in both stock tunes and the FRPP tunes. It is much more pronounced in the FRPP tunes, and I would venture to say its not on purpose, I think the logic is thrown off by the different throttle body and intake flows. I notice it is WAY more pronounced when the vehicle is cold, and fails almost entirely to work once fully warmed up, barely notice it doing anything.

Just a guess, I am sure a veteran tuner will come chime in any moment and clarify.
