I have a 2016 GT.
I have stumbled on the opportunity to either get a GT350 intake and TB or a 2018 intake for almost the same price.
I know they make roughly the same power, but which one will be easier to switch to? Is one a more direct swap in?

gt350 is a direct swap with IMRC's, the TB isn't. You're getting the 350 for about $400? I would take that deal in a heartbeat. The '18 bolts right up with a few mods to the hoses/evap line & locking out the IMRC's. Both are pretty similar in power.

$450 for the 350 mani and the 350 TB is included. Thanks for the input, sounds like the 350 is the way to go.

Wow what a great deal. Definitely go for that since you're getting such a killer combo. Don't forget that you will need tuning to accommodate for the difference in flow and take full advantage of everything. If you have any questions or just want to know what your options are, call us at Lethal Performance.

Thanks.

Yeah, I stumbled into it. A guy at work just put a supercharger on his so and just happened to mention I was thinking about getting a 2018 intake and he said he’d sell me his from his GT350.

Already talked to my tuner so he can send me a revised tune.

GT350 and ported '18 manifold make about the same peak hp. But from what I've seen on here from other forum members that have run tests, the GT350 intake is faster, because it will have a slightly higher avg. hp across the rpm band at the top.

Thinking of adding the 18 manifold...what’s the consensus on throttle bodies? Will the 87mm be a good compliment to the better flowing manifold or just create extra headaches for the tuner?

I have no experience with the 350 TB. On here heard of headaches. I have a ported stock TB (to 85MM)& no issues.

What gameovergt said; It's not worth the hassle. Just stick with the 18 manifold or a ported one which is proven to gain more power over stock.
