Also, forgot to mention. the real magic is inside this intake, a little less precise, but inside both manifolds are the 2 support posts, on the coyote, these look to be almost an inch in diameter whereas the gt350 posts look to be about 3/8. The runners where they meet the plenum are much larger in height (i managed 4 fingers wide with wiggle room on the gt350 whereas to get the same amount of wiggle i could only manage 3 in the oem intake), i'll try to get a more accurate measurement somehow, even if it involves measuring my fingers to give a rough idea of the difference in port height.

Also. all part numbers for the IMRC hardware are identical between the 2 manifolds, the only minor difference is where the 2 pull vacuum from, I'll address my solution for this once the final install takes place

Are the electrical connections the same? On the gt350 intake it looks like the connections have a division point in them and the standard Coyote has no split in them.

Everything regarding the imrcs are identical with the exception of how some things are placed, but yes all the connections are the same

I also have an adapter being fabricated to adapt the oe tb to the gt350 manifold

Status update: Dealership said the throttle body should be in tomorrow at noon, hopefully I've reached Lund soon enough to get a revision for the gt350 tb calibration. If everything falls into place with the TB and tune, I'll hop on the dyno tomorrow and see what happens

Also, not to fret, fabrication of an adapter to use coyote throttle bodies is still under way, just to give people options

How much do you hope to gain in hp and tq using the voodoo intake?

Thats the plan, and VooDoo i would anticipate some gains ranging from 10 to 20 hp with an extended hp range over the oe manifold (this with a not entirely optimised tune)

I'm really anxious to see the difference in average power and torque throughout the powerband compared to the boss or CJ.

I miss the torque of my LS3 lol. Looking to make up as much of it as I can.

Why did you choose the gt350 intake? I have a 2016 gt350 and I removed my voodoo intake to install the cobra jet but it hits the hood. :brokenheart: I was hoping it would fit but no luck. Why did you choose the voodoo over the cobra jet? I'm interested to see what becomes of it and your Dyno numbers. If it's 10-20 hp gain with the voodoo intake will you keep it on even if the cobra jet would possibly give more power?

The decision to go with the gt350 intake was the ability to maintain the 2015 coyote's new found torque, made possible by the addition of the imrcs, as well as negate the need to lower the motor and/or cut the hood....and based off of what i see this manifold has a generous plenum volume and huge intake runners....also i like to be different and rb550 already has the cobrajet intake up a running awesomely on the s550 so i decided to try another alternative....also its already been discussed that the boss manifold provides no real benefit to this motor, although some members are dedicating some time to get it to work, which i hope pans out because that gives the community 3 oem alternative intake manifolds

I know where your coming from. That's why I was hoping to get the cobra jet on my shelby but I too and not cutting the hood or motor mounts. I can relate to your drive to try and be different. I like that!

It will be great if it adds some torque AND increases peak power up top like the Boss and CJ. I'm wondering if the GT350 throttle body may be a bottleneck for the Voodoo motor in comparison with the monoblade. I wonder how much it flows.

If the throttle body ends up being the restriction, maybe FP will eventually release an oval inlet Voodoo IM for the best of both worlds.
