It will be great if it adds some torque AND increases peak power up top like the Boss and CJ. I'm wondering if the GT350 throttle body may be a bottleneck for the Voodoo motor in comparison with the monoblade. I wonder how much it flows.

If the throttle body ends up being the restriction, maybe FP will eventually release an oval inlet Voodoo IM for the best of both worlds.
I thought the samething before. If a 100mm round was available and fit that would be sweet to try

The odds of ford redesigning the entry to accommodate an oval throttle body is slim to none, maybe i can ask my fab guy to take a stab at making an adapter plate...but im not sure how well that would work out because then the inlet becomes the restriction.

I figure the odds are slim too, but who knew they'd make the CJ intake? Who knows what they have in the works?

What size is the throttle body opening? Is their room for porting the TB opening and any runner boogers that can be cleaned up?

The opening is 90mm, there really no mold lines to clean up the casting of this manifold is pretty good as is, theres room to port the tb opening but with no available aftermarket tb theres no need

Hopefully in the future they will offer a bigger TB and possibly a intake for us gt350 owners

At the rate Ford themselves are releasing go-fast parts for the S550, the 7th-gen cars will be out before you see that big TB....

The CJ intake was a result of the NHRA CobraJet race program..it never was intended for production vehicles.

It's also a much less complex design and it doesn't have CMCV's in it.

True enough, ford sinking r&d into another manifold option is very slim, considering they utilized an off the shelf solution (cj manifold) for their PRI engine builds and made awesome power
