The front fangs will no doubt be some shade of dark gray or black, not body colored. The foglights are a bit of an eyesore.

I don't see any foglights on the SVT mules. You guys talking about the turn signals?

I am not entirely sure the hood is wrong in what you are talking about. I see what you are saying in the pics, but the it is not clear how the cutlines in the door (where the mirror sits) resolve into the hood. And, there still is the creases up by the front/corners of the top edge of the grille that is visible -- so those have to resolve somehow into the hood as well (if they stop, where do they stop?). The parts you are talking about might actually be the same as the production version.

Now, the vent is too wide in my render -- that is for sure, but I didn't have time to change it (I actually did half of this while I was on a conference call).

It is Great Work, especially when you were preoccupied with a conference call while you were working on it.

From the looks of it in the pics below the Hood actually doesn't have Creases but is more Smooth and Rounded down to the Grill Opening. As for the Transition of the Hood to the Doors it looks more like the 71-73's. Even the Tops of the Front Fenders look note like the 71-73's, the big difference being the Cut/Shut Line runs down the Peak of the Fender and not Inboard of the Fender like the 71-73.

Yeah I understand how the Hood transitions into the fenders at the cowl. It really reminds me of the 71-73's Hood to Fender transition with the Hood being Lower than the fenders and raised in the center.

It's possible that the lines originating from the grille's frame might gently dissipate early into the hood and are only there to provide a small surface break around the nose (rather than create a defined line a la the regular S550). Coming back to the DLO line, I think that it will wrap about a third of the way inboard and the transition into the power bulge surfacing.

Kind of like this C63 coupe's hood, although pushed much further rearward.

With those brakes and that engine noise I dont think we are looking at a 50k price tag...

Likely the brakes won't make it to production, at least not initially. Back in 2012 the GT500 was being tested on the 'Ring with CC brakes and they never made it to production.

I would like to see these headlights. I know it's a minor difference but the trapezoid shape matches the more aggressive nature better than the standard issue round shape.

I think that the brakes and tires are part of a Leguna or R-code model. The standard street version won't have them, but the alleged GT350R may well...

I think Ford will design their own wheels for the production model though. I don't know how deals would work between Ford and Forgeline unless it was a limited production race model.

Likely. It was the same deal with the Z/28 when GM was developing that package - its not uncommon for mules like this to use something that's readily available, especially if the final wheel design is TBD. I'm guessing that the covers over the wheels we'd seen on the mules in Dearborn probably were to hide the brakes rather than the wheels themselves.

I'll say it again I much prefer the stock GT front end. The way the bumper sags in the middle under the upper grill and the angle created by the "fangs" just looks melted like they are there to cover the real front end.

And all the goofy Lexus hour glass front ends remind me of that Predator monster why would Ford do that? Ugly.

That said the side vents, hood vents, extended side sills I like.
