I am kind of torn. It is nice to be able to keep it in third gear while driving around the city but I also find myself shifting from first all the way to fifth on regular (45-50 mph limit) roads fairly quickly. To me, the biggest drawback for the PP is the 3.73 final ratio, too short for DD. Other parts are sweet, although you may not necessarily utilize all of them on the street.
When I had a non PP car ( w 3.31 i think) i remember wanting the 3.73 gears so I could be at higher rpm for roll races (which I almost never find myself in) and for just quicker feeling acceleration. Now that I have the 3.73 I would not say I want to go back by any means but I definitely shift a lot more now.
