Got on it first time

I would have gone WOT from the lot if the tires and road could have handled it. Instead I got mine during the coldest February since 1875 and had to baby it. It's gradually gotten warmer, but still not to the point where I can really get on it.

Mine gets used and abused. Also babied sometimes. I find enjoyment in driving a fast car slow and watching as slow cars (scions and the like) floor it past me. It's nice to know I can drop the hammer and fly by em at speed that would peel the paint off their cars.

Granted this car is much slower than my 11 was (the fix will come in time), but I picture all the little sucker fish swimming around the big tiger shark.

i drifted the 1st turn after getting out of the lot with the salesman in the passenger seat bouncing it off the revlimiter at 6 miles on the odometer for a moment, do i win?

when I bought a brand new bike I also did a hard break in, do some research on it ^_^ you want to break it in like you'll be driving it forever.

Redline several times on the way home from the dealer. Only way to break in a Mustang, IMO. Seeing other owners do the same brings joy to my heart knowing the cars are being driven like they should.

Yea I was just wondering because I've seem comments like line lock in dealer parking lot etc. I've always religiously warmed the oil up before going wot. Perhaps because I had a turbo car last and theyve always said it's more important on those to warm up the oil before pounding on it

of course. always let engine reach operating temps before getting on it ^_^

mine was running for a few mins in the parking lot while i checked everything out before we took off
