Messed up part is - they "helped" me by allowing me to order the 315 SC2s at a discount...now THAT order is pending cancellation, it seems - and from an order of 8 305 tires, they decided to ship 2 and cancel 6.

Same here...supposed to receive my front 305s today. If they deliver then my transaction would have been fulfilled with only the slight hiccup of having to call them after the initial backorder email on the 305s.

That said, the varying results and experiences on the board seems to be all over the map...which is a bit disappointing. Hoping they come thru for those still waiting!

Shortly after speaking to customer service and being given the option to cancel or wait for restock I receive a cancellation email. This morning I got back in touch with customer service to express my dissatisfaction with this process (if the tires were indeed out of stock then it should have been reflected in the original order and not allowed me to checkout, receive an order number and an estimated delivery date). The agent was able to put notes in the incident report to compensate me at the original sale price when restocking occurs. I’ll wait for that email notification and see if Walmart does right by the consumer.

My order hasn't been cancelled yet. I live chatted with walmart and I was told that their system shows that the original order on 11/29 has been placed and not cancelled and that the tires show an estimated delivery date of 12/15. I have now received a tracking number for all 4 of the 305 MPS2 tires I originally ordered for $195.81 each.

That's good news. I was told mine would ship 12/13, but my order has not changes status. Hoping for the best.

update:

The two 315's that were cancelled were re-ordered at the original sale price. I had to call customer service (which was not helpful at all). Customer service stated that even though the request was documented to not cancel the order, the computer went ahead and did it. I was told that there was nothing that could be done.

Ask for a reference number and ask to speak with tier 2 support (USA agent). I was on hold forever, but spoke to a kind and caring person who was willing to help. Somehow, she thought that I wanted 8 of those tires (no idea where that came from), but when it was discussed that I only wanted 2 tires to complete my order, she was more than happy to help and sell me the tires at the sale price.

Keep in mind, the tires you want have to be in stock. My order for the 315's was cancelled and I discovered that they were in stock. Then I called this morning.

If they are in stock, go through the motions and speak with tier 2. You will get them.
