I'm not gonna pray for you mate, 'cos if an Australian prays for you you're dead meat. We're a godless bunch of pricks down here.

That said, good luck. Twenty years is a bloody long time....ya never know what'll transpire over that period. Keep your Mustang. If I had a Volt in my driveway I'd die of boredom nineteen years early :).

Actually it's called polycemia vera...caused hy the jak2 gene...most people dont get until they are in 60s so I'm rare lol so basically it's a gene problem as opposed to a tumor ...so they have to look at some experimental genetic stuff..lol basically I'm going to be a lab rat...you would think they would pay me vs me paying them lol
I felt a little better reading that. Gene therapy is the future of medicine.

According to my genes I shouldn't be bald or have back hair and well ....

I’m going to provide you with some encouragement no matter what the doctor says. Everyone is an individual and everyone responds to treatment in their own way. Never give up and always fight the good fight. Technologies and treatments are evolving rapidly.

Why do I tell you this? Because I am a blood cancer 20 year survivor! I was a little older than you when diagnosed and as I approach 70, I’m still here with NO cancer. So at this point in time you really don’t know what 5 or 10 years will bring. Hang in there and God bless you and your family, sir!
Did you get experimental treatment?

My Mother-in-law had the same. She was diagnosed in her mid 30s, She passed a few years ago at the age of 72, surpassing the expectation by 2x!
I pray for a long, fruitful life for you!

One more thing, just because you no longer will have your Mustang does not mean you have to leave the forums. You are always welcome here, even if to just get some comic relief from the discussions!
