In my case I accidentally hit it when attempting to raise the volume or change songs unsing the steering wheel controls. Then I hit the M button and have to go to the touchscreen and get back to the input I had. It an unnecessary driver distraction.

Just curious, if you pickup the phone after answering on the Sync touchscreen, can you hear audio from the phones ear piece? Wondering if the audio/mic isn't being routed to the Sync system but staying on the phone when receiving calls.

Ummm, why? I've never read any post on why one of these helps the engine performance in a positive way. If it was such a great idea, wouldn't Ford and all manufacturer's add one at the factory to vehicles? This is a snake oil product.

I had to downgrade to the official 2.2 then upgrade to the currrent released build.

No doubt, at least 2 years old for the Ford maps. You will have much more up to date maps using Google or Apple maps with your phone.

If the Carfax shows an accident then that will lower the selling price.

Adding another data point.. I had 17276 on my '17 Premium. Downloaded the official build from Ford onto a 2GB USB 2.0 drive. Stuck it into the front USB port and got the already up to date message. Factory resetted the system and got the same message but then the 'System Updating' message for...

I guess I'm the opposite, I use CP every time I drive my car. It just makes it easy to use Spotify, listen to podcasts with the podcast app, and always have updated maps.

I've been to Hawaii twice in the past year and rented a Mustang convertible both times (Oahu and Kauai). What sucks is that the Mykey is locked out so the stereo is set to only 1/2 loudness which you can barely hear when the top is down. Other than that it's a nice rental for island cruising.

You have to make it stand out some way. Mustangs are all over Honolulu thanks to the rental car companies :)
