I've read TONS of threads about alignment and from my understanding there's no front caster adjustment on a stock s550.

Had some new sve r357 19x10 installed today and had an alignment done as well. All I specifically told him was I want 0 toe in the front because my last front tires got destroyed on the inner portion.

I didn't know about the non adjustable casters till now but at the time I asked him why wasn't that touched and he said you don't want it perfect because the roads aren't flat, their slightly domed for rain/water etc.

Is this a good alignment for a DD?

It will probably be ok but I don't like the front toe.

He has .01 degree toe in and the other wheel is .01 toe out. It should be .05 toe in both sides.

Rear, I don't like the difference in toe, but it should work.

I don't like the rear camber split. -1.8 is fine but both sides should be the same. Looking closer it appears as if he didn't even adjust it.

I would not be happy with this alignment unless it was a freebee from a tire shop.

this was the most reputable shop in town with over 300+ 5 star google reviews (kinda how I based my decision on going here)
I might just have to go to this other shop that I debated about going to in the first place

I could be wrong but I think sometimes the reputable shops get used to working on mostly 4 door vehicles.

It's unfortunate there aren't more performance oriented shops around.

Told my wife about this post, she said "go back tomorrow morning and tell them to make it all even and accurate"
Looks like I'm going back tomorrow haha.

When they argue with you about the rear camber, YES it is adjustable.
The adjustment bolts are on the inside of the upper control arm.

Thanks! I'll call them in the morning and let them know I would like for them to fine tune the adjustments because I'm not comfortable with the split differences in the camber and toe

For a DD it's "fine" tbh. Depends what you paid for the alignment i guess. A lot of the shops here charge an extra 50 bucks or so for custom spec versus just getting it in the green.

But yeah it can obviously be better.

That being said I've seen factory alignments worse than that.

89 buckaroos for this alignment.

Some cars have a front subframe slightly shifted and that's usually why you see caster and camber variance from side to side like this.

I run 0 toe in the front but you get pretty strong tramlining with 285's up front 😂

I really don't even know if it's worth going back and potentially starting crap with this shop if this is how they do their initial alignment on a sports car, with no garuntee theyll even make it better then it is right now. Go and be macho man tomorrow and insist they be more accurate? Or suck it up and go to a more detailed shop

If it makes you feel better here's my $150 alignment from a performance shop. The rear end is in spec sure, but not sure why they couldn't get the toe to match lol

Atleast both your cambers are even and matching lol. I wonder why my caster is in the red ? I haven't seen anyone else on here with out of spec casters with stock suspension since it's not adjustable.
