Really interested in this!

I find the GT 350 setup even on the stock TB is still a little touchy/jumpy and does not drive as smooth as the car did stock.

Maybe its just the downside of having 100HP more at the crank, everything is turned up a notch.

I have not got the car back yet and had a chance to drive it. The shop is doing a few finishing touches to the project. I will post details when I pick it up.....

I'm interested in the drivability as well. Damn that is some impressive numbers.

Honest question for you though: knowing what it took to get this NA, would you go to a power adder like a supercharger or turbocharger? Looks like this was on very pretty penny worth of work.

Also interested to hear OP's opinion on the N/A v. Boost route as well!

Excellent numbers & reliable horsepower!

The stage 3 N/A cams will work with centri setups, so boost can still happen and I believe OP hasn't ruled that out for down the road.

Thanks Evil 5.0! This is the setup im after. 500 N/A wheel sounds awesome. I was on the fence about blower setups but since I do my own installation of parts and have a mechanic background, this seems like the best route for me.

Not quite what I mean. I'm more along the lines thinking that, if he were to do this all over again, would he go the route of the CJ, cams, and custom tune or would he go with a power adder and calling it a day?

Picking it up tonight... so I will post later on drivability.

Would I do over? There is a ton of boosted Mustangs that go in and out of FLP. I was debating NA vs Boost. Brandon Alsept, many may know from NMRA recommended I go NA. I have had an 8 second blower car before. It is a lot of work! I had the most fun back in the Foxbody days when I was cam, intake and aluminum heads. You could beat on them and never have an issue. Very consistent. I wanted that back. Yes I could have bolted a blower on and made more power and maybe when I got greedy, had a nice chunk of aluminum for a table stand. I will want more, we all do. So with Brandon's recommendation I went with it. Do I regret it, not yet. It's different than other cars. I will go to the track and no-one will expect it :eyebulge: By estimation I'm only 50 hp under the Roush Ford setup, without the weight.

And yes down the road I will probably add boost. I was in the process of changing YSI setup to a turbo, maybe I will finish that with this car. (But not before BES reworks the short block in preparation)

I know when I'm done playing with my n/a set up I'm looking at at pro charger stage2 P1x set up and the goal would be 750 rwhp 600 torque!

Please dont be the ohh just slap some boost on it and call it a day type of guy......:tsk:

I appreciate the all motor builds and love seeing these types of builds. over 130whp @7400 rpm this car gained is insane.

Making 500whp all motor then feed it some boost would really be badass.

Yes obviously a cheap paxton kit will make more hp per dollar but i 110% believe that all motor builds are wayyy under appreciated.

500whp and a well sorted chassis is easily a deep 10 second car with a fairly simple drama free combination here.

Not everything needs to be big hp dyno queen that barely runs 10s with a boost

Sub'd...I talked to beefcake last week about doing basically the exact same build as you, he said "we have a car in the shop right now that's pretty much exactly what you want...should make 500whp" you did it!!! I'm going to order my parts and make the haul to Ohio I guess. Let us know what your thoughts are after you drive that warlock tonight
