Patrick, take a good led flashlight and look at the black paint closely. While doing some polishing before planned PPF this week, I noticed a few chips in the gloss black front bumper insert. Is this just the same paint code as ebony black etc? Going to need a touch-up pen.
Interesting, I'll have a closer look with a flashlight at the mirrors vs. the roof once I'm able to wash it again.Found an old picture I had taken from my 2016 GT 350 mirror cap. It was absolute black. The insert appears to match the spoiler, and mirror caps which all seem to be the same as 2016. So G1 is the best guess.
Drive the car. You are fine.Yeah to my eye it looks like the front bumper, hood vent, and back bumper panel are plain black, and the mirrors and painted black roof have a bit more something in them. Can't tell with the spoiler.
Close enough to all look cohesive together though.
Sorry to hear about the chips, that's why I only have 220ish miles on the car enough though I've had it for a month. Was nervous to drive it before PPF. One or two more days and that should be gone, just waiting for the drying process to be 200% finished before I drive it somewhere or wash it after the whole front clip PPF installation.
