Gibson ftw. No issues, sounds mean AF with the long tubes.

Same here. I liked the Gibson before headers, but now i love it. My neighbor has an s550 with corsa extreme and headers, meanwhile it sounds great, that sound can litereally pierce your ear drums if driving behind with windows down lol. It almost makes me wish my system were a little louder now that i am accustomed to it. I thought about swapping out the x pipe for h just to see how the difference was. H pipe exhausts always have a deeper tone.

Side note- the headers all but eliminated my drone from the Gibson system. I never notice it now. Also, there will be some rasp from both the MBRP and
Gibson catbacks. Keep that in mind, but rasp is very difficult to avoid on these motors.

I love my Gibson exhaust! This should've been my first mod. I was between this and MBRP Street. On the videos the MBRP seems too raspy and a little too "ricey"? Maybe that's unfair to call it ricey. But anyways I don't regret it one bit. The little drone I do get I don't mind at all.

What I like about it most is as they say, it kindve tunes your exhaust note by its design and the way it funnels high velocity exhaust gases. It's like it's tuning your exhaust note as you go along.

Well, I purchased the MBRP street STAINLESS online from an EBay vendor. It was $565/shipped and no tax. I'll let you guys know what I think once I get it installed. Ordered it yesterday, and it's on the way here to my house today! That's fast shipping.

Update.........
I installed the MBRP Stainless Street last night. It went in very easily and I'm pretty happy with it. It's a bit quiet actually. I was hoping for a bit more volume, but I'm still happy about my purchase. Zero drone that I can detect so far. The one issue with this car unrelated to the exhaust so far is with the windows down. I get that muffled annoying wind flutter like when you have only 1 window down in most cars. Not a big thing, just thought I'd see if anyone else has the same issue or not.

As others have mentioned in the forums, the MBRP seems to get a little more aggressive once it has a few miles on it. Mine did at least, so yours might get a little louder as well. As for the window thing that's interesting. If I crack the passenger window just slightly, the annoying wind flutter goes away, thankfully because that is so annoying. Not sure why yours would not... Enjoy your exhaust! Now go drive through a parking garage and set off some car alarms!!:D

My MBRP stainless street seemed to get just a tad louder and less raspy after about 5k miles. Not sure what you mean with the window noise. I want more volume but I like the tone and am planning on eventually getting long tube headers so I'm just going to keep these and see how they sound with LTs.
