What do you all think?
Ran Gibson for about 20k miles. I liked it, but way too much drone. Once I added long tubes it was obnoxiously loud. Which was cool for a while, but I got a little tired of it.

I did not try the catback by itself with the stock headers, cats and resonator but I try the Gibson with off-road Arh long tube headers.

One of the worst Mustang sound I ever heard. They were other people at the garage and I could read in their face that's they were thinking exactly like me. The next day I was looking for another system.

The problem is not that is loud. Well it is loud but the thing is that it sound so harsh and thin especially when letting off the throttle. Maybe with the cats still on it sound good but to me with the off road lth it was a big no-no. I switch to a magnaflow race catback. It is loud but love the sound.

It must be because you didn't have any cats, because mine has a deep throaty sound to it definitely a muscle car sound to it.

So what do you guys think to them on their own with out headers?

How do they compare to the MF Competition? Louder?

I don't think it's louder than mf comp. (that's a catback on its own, no headers). It is a little louder at cold start till the rpm come down but other than that. It has that deep sound and none of the tinny crackling. It sounds amazing to me. At last years cars and coffee amongst 6 other cars all with different aftermarket exhausts this one was the best sounding to most everyone there (even the owners of the other s550's). Can't beat the price also.....

In videos it sounds like it's tiny?

So the MF competition is louder?

This might help.

. Go to 5.35 for the start up and so on...

I don't have a idle or cold start but [ame]

I think what ever you decide on you'll be happy, anything sounds better than stock. Good luck

Like I said I only have experience with Gibson and lth no cats. I am sure it sound way better on your car with cats. Also price is great compare to the others catback

I just want to let the OP knows that if he have plan for lth without cats that it sound thin and harsh! I would have like to have that info last year!
