Just curious the general things I should look out for owning this car

2022 5.0 ford performance Roush supercharger.
Car has 10k miles, bought it a few months ago at 6.5k.

Taking the car to my local shop to get some suspension work done and get new rims / tires on Tuesday.

What are some general things I could ask them to check up on? What are some general things I could check up on myself?

Thanks.

If you drive it hard change the engine oil every 3-4k
Definitely don’t drive too hard, pull here and there is it. Maybe once a week. Mostly daily driving.

Still changing the oil every 3 so far.

What about spark plugs?

No different than any other car. It has 10k miles. Not much to do. Change the oil. Check the plugs every now and then.

  • Empty the passenger side catch can every 1k - 2k miles if the car has it.
  • Monitor IAT2 and the cats.
  • Battery test: Can cause gremlins as it starts to fail.
  • See if the car has a boost-a-pump installed. Models like the JMS are adjustable. Confirm the settings. JMS manual
  • Roush periodically releases new PCM calibrations. I just flashed the latest update to mine.

Better yet get an aftermarket tune and ditch the Roush tune

Yup, this is on the list of things to do.

Pretty sure I’ll go with VMP but I’ll look into PBD as well
