How high did it get before it fell to $2.91?

Hello; Gas is up in my area. Up 17 cents per gallon today from $2.91 to $3.08.

How high did it get before it fell to $2.91?

Hello; I think maybe in the low $4.00 + range. I did not gas up a lot during the highest prices. I think the highest I paid was in the $3.90's. (regular)
My friends in Lexington and Louisville KY have had to pay more.

On a different note my pickup got just over 15 MPG since the last fillup. That was some hauling dirt-rock and gravel, some 60 pound bags of concrete mix and one fishing trip to Norris Lake about 25 miles away.
The fillup before was just over 18 MPG. At least my small car gets around 34 MPG

Hello; UPDATE- Had to get some bags of concrete mix today. The stations which were $3.08 yesterday are now $3.39 today. Up 31 cents.
The station which was $2.91 yesterday is also $3.39 today. Up 48 cents in one day.

$3.19 today NW suburb Chicago. Illinois is a high gas tax state and so this price is still probably considerably higher than a lot of you are encountering.
