Do you mind explaining why you chose to quote me? Also, what is it that you are wanting me to believe in that lenghty post? You do realize that you said in your post you "have been hearing...." and then went on to say you want people to defend what they post. I am sure you see what I am getting at here. The initial post was about gas prices dropping and somehow that went down a rabbit hole to where we all need to state why they are declining and why they are at the price they are now, and what they were when we were we were a grasshopper riding in the backseat. What's to defend? If you had no affect on what or why, what do you defend? BTW, large groups have been known to make very bad decisions.

I do agree some countries had or have worst inflation than we are currently dealing with.

I won't comment on the two films. I am sure you can guess that I believe films are for entertainment and thus I don't relate them to reality. Old Yellar on the other hand....... Ok , I am just trying to lighting things up a little. :}

Hello; A part needs more clarification. When i wrote "I have been hearing" that refers to many reports from varying news and media reports. Not that my next-door neighbor mentioned such across the fence.
To be sure one neighbor did tell me he is having to cut back on driving due to prices. But I figure the information has been broadly reported. Policies about fossil fuels and spending drove the prices up to the point many simply cannot afford things including fuel. So, demand destruction. When enough stop or slow down the purchase of a product that is demand destruction and the price goes down.

Too bad you did not understand the analogy of the movies. Not sure I can help you.

Just announced that OPEC+ will cut production to try and stem price falls. Some countries have already reduced production below the levels they agreed earlier in the year.

Hello; My $3.08 is for regular. I quote for prices in Middlesboro KY in southeastern KY. I am in TN five miles from Middlesboro.
We are close to the big fuel storage depot in Knoxville TN. On Middlebrook Pike. About 60 miles away. The tanker rigs pass by my place often.

Heard on the news today the strategic oil reserve will be tapped again one last time for some millions of barrels then that stops. Interesting timing, what??

The 3.89 is also for regular 93 is 4.79 at least it was yesterday. Have not been out today.
