I just installed my E85 race tune yesterday, and decided to take her out for a rip earlier this afternoon now that the sun is out and the storms have passed. I had the windows down with the stereo turned up, and came up to a red light, first in line in the left turn lane. After a few seconds of sitting there I start hearing the loudest ticking I have ever heard of any car I have ever owned. Shit. Light turned green, and I figured I'd pull into a gas station a quarter mile ahead to see if switching tunes would help. I moved over to the left lane, the Infiniti QX60 that had been in line behind me blew past me, and... the tick went with it. The ticking from that Infiniti was so damn loud that I could hear it over my exhaust and The Offspring, and it still sounded like it was coming from in front of me not behind me. Better the soccer mom than me. Good luck to her all the same.

Damn, if that doesn’t make your stomach sink a little I don’t know what would.

Funny story - I had a wet nitrous kit on my old 2000 GT. Sitting at a light one day I started smelling fuel. There was a beater box Chevy infront of me and I was thinking to myself “whew, not my car”. Well, once the beater Chevy was gone I kept smelling it. I pulled over ASAP, popped the hood and found fuel was leaking from the rail adaptor onto the engine, by the coil packs. Pucker moment!
