17 EB MT, usually shows 350ish in winter, close to 400 summer. Highest I've seen so far is 459.

I'd say my first E85 adventure is going quite well on MPG.

2018 GT pp1 10 speed:

Tested how good of a mpg rating I could get out of the 'stang on a... (I'm from Europe so i'll translate numbers later) 100km trip, not exactly flat driving but nothing more than a few hundred yards of incline/decline. Shocking result in consumption!

Decided to use the cruise control, knowing they're usually slightly worse at optimal driving than my foot but just for fun.

Speed: 85 km/h / 53 mph
Range: 100 km / 62.5 mile trip
Stayed in 10th gear the entire time except twice, shifting to 9th on uphill for about 10 seconds.

Consumption accrding to computer: 0.73 l/10km = "european mile" = 32.1-32.2 mpg? Sick!
Consumption when refilling: 0.78 l/10km = 30 mpg.

Bet I could land 31/32 mpg driving it myself considering we, unlike the cars cruise control, can plan ahead making use of downhill and uphill planning not easing off as much on downhill just to build speed etc.

2018 Mustang GT Ready to be chosen as the Green Plant Car of the year! :D Don't tell them it does an average of about 13 mpg in our typical small swedish towns. Sub 30 mp/h speeds.

I usually get about 280-300

On straight highway trips I range from 26-29mpg on Sport mode with the cruise between 70-80.

Around town? 16-19mpg depending on how much I get on it.
Damn.. Thats good mpg.
Just did a 150miles on freeway, cruise set at 80mph, OAT was 73deg, 89 Octane gas, got 25mpg on a stock GT. (That is using the cars trip that has been recalibrated to reflect accurate hand calculation, see DIY section on instructions.) Should go up a bit as we change to summer blend fuel here in the next month or so.

I have only had my 2018 GT 6MT for a few weeks now but the numbers seem to be fairly consistent so far. I have been through about 4 tanks of gas and have been running only 93.

- Avg. 17-18mpg
- ~240-250 miles of range on a full tank. This is almost exclusively done on surface streets <60mph.

I've kept the driving pretty tame for the most part, normally shifting at around 3k RPMs (only driving in normal mode).

400miles to tank... Seems a bit hard to beleive. Did you recalibrate your trip to reflect hand calculation?

95% city and averaging between 260 and 280 on a tank. AVG mpg tends to stay in the 19's.

Not sure what you mean about the hand calculation but I reset my Trip ODO every time I fill up so that's how I gauged it. Both of those trips were all highway driving basically the whole way and I haven't really repeated it since.

Hand calculation being, taking the amount of gallons to fill tank as displayed on the pump then divide it into how many miles you traveled. Then adjust your AFE as per instructions here. The mpg meter on Fords are very optimistic and tend to be 1-2mpg higher than reality.

In my daily driving I definitely agree it’s way too optimistic. Same with 18 MPG for the last 9,000 miles when I’m in traffic every day for half an hour +.

I’ve never actually ran the tank dry but when I fill up at E it usually has 1-2 gallons - even if it says less than 5 miles remaining

Mine hovers around 390-400 mpg shows 25.4. My daily commute is about 28-30 miles being 95% freeway. Haven’t hand calculated. Car specs

2018 GT 3:55 gears and I only get 17.5 to 21 depends a lot on how I drive which to say is spirited. sometimes drive it like I stole it (not for long though) sometimes not.

Any tips on best practices for efficient driving around the city? I am new to manuals and to Coyote's.
