I have a '16 GT PP with the 3.73 rear end and if I baby it I can get up to 19MPG, mostly town/hwy driving and min stop and go city traffic...but they just started some new construction on my way to/from work for about 20 minutes of stop and go, my MPG has dropped to 17.5-18MPG while still babying it.

Getting on it here and there drops me to 17MPG, but I live in Florida so there isn't much fun driving besides hauling ass in a straight line.

I find this car is really good on the Highway 26-27mpg :headbang:
3.30 gears - 6 Speed Manual - 93 Octane

Horrible in the backroads 14mpg but thats probably due to my led foot :headbang:

310-320 per tank. 60% highway, 40% city. Same mpg as my Infiniti G I had before this, so no complaints here.

Since my car is a supercharged automatic with 600 Rear Wheel Horsepower at 6700 RPM's and I am a paraplegic with hand controls the variance should be more understandable to this thread. Highest Full Tank mileage (55 mph FWY) 390, Average Full Tank 218, Lowest Full Tank Miles 145.

Hello, I picked up a 2017 grabber blue GT base with PP the beginning of this month. During the break in period I was getting 200 miles per tank which seemed a little low considering I kept the RPMS under 3k. Now that my break in is done I am getting 155-165 per tank. It really is annoying to be filling up every 2 days so I wanted to make sure everything with my car is right. How many miles are you guys getting per fill up?

Half City and half highway is what I am currently doing and I am in SoCal CA is that makes a difference.

Car is 100% stock except for the Roush cat back exhaust. Car currently has 1350 miles on it.
What octane are you putting in?
93 will give you the most miles per tank...And that is if you are doing long highway road trips ... Mixed city highway driving will average you about 250 to a tank (3.73 gears)

It takes a while for the tank MPT meter to calibrate for given driving circumstances...If you are driving at least 1000 miles road trip, the first tank might be off in MPT then as you continue driving it eventually stabilizes...With 93 I've seen 380 miles to empty on road trips.

I'm averaging about 12.8MPG all the time with my GT auto 3:15, is anyone else getting bad MPG like this?

with 3.73's it depends how I drive, 10mpg listening to the corsa's going through the gears around town, 15mpg local city/highway split and so far 22mpg strictly highway

Sounds like your driving your V8 like a 4cyl. I'm shifting around 2k when cruising (check your owners manual its pretty close to 2k for speeds listed) except 1st to 2nd closer to 2300rpms.

I dont even have 300km's on my car and im getting crazy good mileage shifting and taking my time.

6MT w/3.55's avg'd 9.6L/100km to my work commute today. With slight traffic. That's about 24MPG

and my car only has 320kms :D

I'm not sure how you guys are getting such great MPG. The GT just makes me want to punch the gas all day long and let the X pipe and Roush's come to life. :D

I do use 91 here since it is the highest in SoCal.

Im driving the v8 like a v8! Flooring it everywhere and taking it up to red line all the time. Maybe that is why my mpg is so bad . I drove my m3 the same way and I averaged 230 miles per tank but 170 in the mustang seems low.

27-28mpg on the highway with 3.31 rear and 6sp manual. Around town with the occasional romp it's around 19-20mpg. It's a bone stock GT with slightly wider tires 255/45/18 vs stock 235/50/18.

Make sure you are using 93 I get 250-280, when I first purchase the car the dealer put 87 and saw 200 miles, never again

A PP car is going to get poor MPGs, with the wheels & tires and gearing. It's the nature of the car.

I do all city driving, and get 14-15MPGs.
