Calm down. I'm talking about Full Races build. They use those "marketing gimmick" Brembos. 6 front 4 rear....if you add power you need to add stopping power unless you're a fool.

Damn EB guys getting so touchy over nothing.
Sorry if I came across as touchy. I wasn't talking about the entire Full Race build, if you're spending that much I'd just get the GT or GT350.

I understand needing to add braking power if you add horsepower. But at the power level most Ecoboost cars will see the stock PP brakes are perfectly fine, pads, fluid, maybe brake lines.

Anyway, I thought you were just being a "Damn GT guy getting touchy over nothing"

Isnt the EcoBoost Performance Package front brakes the same brakes as the 2014 Brembo track package brakes on the GT?

They appear to be the same, not sure if they are actual Brembos though.

Yeah probably made by Ford. 14" rotor and 4 piston calipers should be plenty enough for the EcoBoost.

I'd guess closer to $4500-5000 personally. But still $2000 ahead of buying a GT but with greater performance, lower insurance, and better gas mileage.
Depends where/what you buy.

The parts and prices I have spec'd come to $500 for the intercooler and CAI, $400 for a tune, $1000 for full exhaust. That's only $1900, but say $2000 rounded up... No need for labor costs for those parts either, they all can be done in the garage on a weekend. The turbo they use is $1500, so there is $3400-$3500 for everything. The only extra cost for even the most novice mechanic could be for paying someone to install the turbo or exhaust.

Anyway, I don't want to get into technicalities and semantics. You can basically get these power numbers for well under $5000 and be fitted to match, maybe even beat, a 5.0 that has a CAI, exhaust, and tune.

there are limits to how much boost that small turbo can do. a bigger turbo will be able to make more power on the same amount of boost and will be able to exceed the stock boost of that turbo. I'm guessing that this will be a 5000 dollar kit for everything for all the research and such and time it took to get the kit out.

I'm not sure what your post is getting at. I counted the turbo upgrade Full Race used and still only came to $3500. You can buy that exact turbo for $1500.

They will probably have a small premium for the convenience of a "package". We'll hafta watch for the final list of items included.

These parts can be purchased separately. For $3500. There's nothing really more complicated than that.

So, I was looking over my Facebook page and happened upon this

It is on the svtperformance web site. in their news section they are showing how Full Race has partnered with Ford and then show a picture of the engine bay with the Full race intake, New BIGGER turbo and it looks like an oil catch can.

Look at that turbo......just look at it!!!! :hail:

Well, that is good and bad. Good that Ford will give these kits the seal of approval. The bad is that seal of approval comes with a hefty price tag. Nothing from FRPP comes cheap.

Got any more good shots of the TE37 Ultras?

I'd love to see a side shot or a shot with better lighting.

I'm strongly considering a custom color set for my 2015.

Thanks!

:headbang: our intercooler / charge piping kits are in production now, and 3" turbo back exhaust (downpipe + catback) are in line next. Turbo kit development is temporarily on hold, we're waiting to get our mustang back from Ford later this month - if you are at the Detroit Auto show stop by and check her out!

Ferrea Valvetrain had our mustang's new cylinder head on display at PRI - https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152543445195233

i have more if you need anything in particular. I am seriously in love with these wheels on this car **offset on these things is critical to getting the right concave**

Our Intercooler & Charge piping kits are ready and in our system/in production - in fact last week we shipped the first Mustang Ecoboost Intercooler orders. LET (Leading Edge Tuning) in texas just got theirs for their shop mustang and said they will do a writeup on the install

Our website is getting 2015 EcoBoost updates starting tomorrow. First is Mustang Ecoboost IC, intake then exhaust / downpipe and followed 2015+ F150 IC/exhaust. there is some great stuff coming out for these cars, my next 12 months of development are basically devoted to this platform
