Well damn how did I miss this thread? This was my favorite car and sema and so far my favorite 2015 build. I ran a full race manifold on most of my turbo Honda's back in the day and never had a single issue. Looking forward to the build thread as I'm very interested in the wheel fitment. Are the te37 ultra's one off wheels? I looked them up when I first saw the car and the only offset I noticed listed was 20x12 +48

There's actually a few sizes available
Volk reccomends 20x9.5 in front with 40 offset and 20x11 rear with 48 offset.

This will let you run a 285 up front and 305 out back with no issues.

I actually ordered these last week, 2-3 month wait. With the 20x12 full race ran they had to pull the rear fenders

Im probably going to order the same sizes full-race used but in bronze since I finally decided to order a black gt premium. Unfortunately the tire size they used is limited to r888 and nt01 but since the stang will only be used for mountain runs, track days, and date nights im not concerned. I used them on my 300zx in the same way and they aged fairly we'll for a r compound.

I'll be running an rs3 305 out back and 285 up front. More than enough tire as I'm not a huge fan of R888

I like the rs3, I used them on my dc2. I was only able to do one track day with them but they got up to temp really fast on the street. Post some pics when you get them installed I'm interested to see how the 28.5 inch tire looks on the s550.

I am eagerly awaiting details on the turbo and manifold upgrade. I am more interested in straight line performance, so I am buying an auto. I am a big fan of Borg Warner turbos.

I believe it's a honeywell GT22 series stock. The BorgWarner ones that Full Race is working on will probably be a perfect upgrade.

I want this! The EFR turbos are super efficient. Can't wait to see some power numbers!

I'm definitely following this build. Looks like a larger turbo, intercooler, intake, full exhaust, and tune are all that's needed to get to these numbers... And that doesn't seem to be more than $3500. Not bad at all.

I'd guess closer to $4500-5000 personally. But still $2000 ahead of buying a GT but with greater performance, lower insurance, and better gas mileage.

You mean $4500 for the front and rear Brembos...

Are you talking about the Brembos on the GT? Both cars have the same rear calipers number one. And the Ecoboost stops in a shorter distance 60-0 even with it's "inferior" 4 piston calipers.

It's a marketing gimmick. Real serious track guys would swap the brakes on both cars anyway.

Calm down. I'm talking about Full Races build. They use those "marketing gimmick" Brembos. 6 front 4 rear....if you add power you need to add stopping power unless you're a fool.

Damn EB guys getting so touchy over nothing.
