Will changing the fuel pump on a 2019 car adversely affect the current tune on the car. It was originally tuned with the stock pump in it. and while my car was down waitting on the engine I installed a DW400. I am starting to worry it is going to not run very good while I am doing the initial start and break in.

THanks,

Short answer is it will be fine as long as you got the dw400 with the check valve.

Long answer is that the tune *may* not have sufficient range to lower the lift pressure to setpoint. However, the gen3 has a fuel pressure sensor and will automatically cut the injector pulsewidth when the pressure is not following commanded.

Well I bought the DW400 this year from Lethal, The tech notes at DW say as of 5/5/2019 they have the check valve. I dont have the documentation with me. I will have to double check.

Thank you for the reply.

HOW do we know if we have the DW400 "with" the check valve, as compared to without it?

It should hold rail pressure after primed/engine off. Either turn Acc on or full start then off. Check low side rail pressure with what ever your logging with.
