Im getting a Steeda tower brace and the FRPP track handling kit installed on my 2015 manual Gt (non-performance pack), and need help with what settings to go with for the front and rear sway bars. Im looking for a daily canyon carver rather than red light drag racer. What settings should I go with to maintain comfort on bumpy freeways but be able to keep a good pace on the canyons? Please feel free to give me your $.02 :help:

What setting did you go with? I had them set mine to the loosest and I haven't yet felt the need to move another notch, mostly daily driving, some autox.

I really want to install this kit but I am worried that the ride will be too rough. Anyone have a review of this kit?

There are reviews sprinkled all over the subforum. There's several in this topic http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41143

As far as comfort goes, it isn't much harsher than the GT PP suspension. I daily mine on really bad country roads and I never think to myself that its too rough. You do notice more road noise but it's nowhere near as bad as equivalent linear setups.

It is a little frustrating and time consuming, but it is very easy to adjust the sway bars on your own. Set them to full soft to start, which is still stiffer than stock. Drive around for a while. Then set them to full stiff, drive around for a while. I'm betting, if you're a canyon carver type, you'll leave them there or maybe leave the rear soft and the front full stiff (or vice versa, I guess... depends on what those spring rates are). I have my Steeda bars at the middle setting in the rear and the second to stiffest (4 settings up front with Steeda bars) in the front. I started full soft for all bars. The stiffer I went, especially up front, the better. Just don't forget to torque the end link bolts properly.

Did you keep the stock end links with the uprated sway bars?

SpeedLu I did the softer setting after contacting Ford Performance. They told me it would be better at accelerating and more predictable and neutral for cornering. The stiffer setting is for people who want a more tail happy car.

SWETRID I have had this on for the past 10,000 miles and I can honestly say its a BETTER ride. I won't say comfortable or harsher because its neither, its just different. It is much more composed and is not floating and bouncing everywhere. It feels like a sports car now, you hit a bump and its 1 up and 1 down. I daily it and only time I complain is when I'm going down the freeway and hit a connector hump at 95mph, then I definitely feel the difference. But I would definitely suggest this for anyone looking to daily and do occasionally track days. Its a proven setup and is being used in the shelby gt500's and the newer mustangs shelby brought out without the superchargers. I say DO IT

2morrow This kit uses much thicker sway bars front and back compared to original Performance Pack. It also has totally different shocks to work better with the new springs which bring the car about 1.25' lower in all four corners. Also the other major difference is it upgrades the soft factory rubber Knuckle to Toe Link Spherical Bearings to Delrin lined to drastically make it more rigid compared to factory ones.

I only asked because I was unsure myself , in the end my suspension came with shorter endlinks anyway so they were fitted.I think stock are ok but if I wanted to push it further I would have uprated them.

I got this kit installed this past weekend.

Have driven my car just a little bit so far.

Giving it a little time to settle in, after which I will get an alignment done.

Sway bars are currently in soft position front and back.

But my initial impressions driving from the shop to home (About 10 miles), I could not really tell the difference so far from my stock suspension to this new suspension.

I am coming from a Base GT.

And yes, I did verify they installed everything, haha.

I took a look underneath the car while it was up on their lift.

I have not done any aggressive driving yet.

I was expecting it to be much firmer and harsh but didn't feel anything different.

Will need to drive more to get a better understanding.

But if anyone is worried about harshness or being to firm, so far I can say, you have nothing to worry about.

Car is definitely lower and maybe settle in a little more.

Ashiq73 that is exactly why I love it, Firmness and Harshness go up slightly on rough pavement but once you start pushing it, the car just grips. overall the car drops about an inch and a quarter all around. Ive also done err m350 wheels with 285 front and 305 rear, and the car is JUST HOOKED!

Heres what she looks like with everything done to date
