Does anyone know...how is it that the "Street Handling Pack" is basically the PP suspension, but it lovers the car 1" ?

1" from what? A stock GT with out PP?

Is this to say that a GT/PP is 1" lower than a GT / Non PP?

Or do both kits...the street and Track kits use different lowering springs than stock?

Yes the springs are different from PP, Street and Track package. I have GT with PP and I'm getting the springs that come in the FR street package. These springs will lower the car front and back by 1 inch and give a different feel from the springs in the PP.

I put the FR Track Handling Kit on my non-PP GT and it actually lowered the front over an 1.25" and the back a hair over an inch.

20x10 wheels and 275/35 tires, square.

How is the ride and the handling on the ford track pack? I really like the stance.

I'm holding out for Koni's but dread the dollar.. The FR package is very appealing..
Thanks!

The handling between the stock GT I purchased and now is night and day.
However, along with installing M-FR3A-M8, I also did the Strut top brace, "K" brace, the metal plate that links the K brace to both sides of the firewall and the underside "C" brace.
20x10 Niche wheels and Potenza S-04 275/35 tires.

Every single thing I added increased the handling of the car little by little. Handles like it is on rails now. Turn in and cornering did get noticeably better after the FR Track kit though.

Ride......it is harsher, no doubt compared to the stock non-PP ride. Not terrible or unbearable, but "sporty". Sport mode makes it even more so.

Depends on what you are using the car for I guess. 95% of my drive time is me alone and I'm fine with it. If it was a car you were taking the girlfriend or wife out in all the time...ummmm...some might like something a little less harsh and more muted I guess.

I got M-FR3A-M8 from Don Wood for just under 1K....lowest price I saw out there. Got the Brembo's on the way from them now, also under 1K.
