I installed the kit over the weekend. Took me about 6.5 hours to complete the job. It was not to bad, the CJ videos for the spring and sway bar installs cover the job. Car is definitely improved. I need an alignment next.

I live in arizona so there are not a lot of opertunity for me to test the limits around town. I'm heading out to an autocross this coming Sunday so I should be able to provide some more feed back.

Ah hah. That makes sense. Look forward to hearing more. That's a job to install compared to my fbodys.

The problem with the CJ's fastener kit(s) is that they are WAY overpriced and WAY incomplete. You can get those same pieces from your dealer's parts counter for a lot less and the completeness of what they are offering doesn't begin to meet what the installation instructions call for.
Thats really good information. Would you please for myself and the other guys actually list the part numbers need for this install? Someone posted a photo of the parts list but its still not clear to me, maybe others as well.

Very much appreicated!

The posted picture was mine. I don't have the list anymore, but it's easy to create - for every part that the instructions tell you to discard (via the trash can icon) find it below:
http://stores.revolutionparts.com/o...ear-suspension-cat/shocks-and-components-scat

Then once you know the part# add it to cart at your favorite parts supply place until you have the full list.

Really excited about this! I've been following that car for a while. The "buy it in blue and put an exhaust on" article was the inspiration for my final color choice. I don't regret it either.
Same here. I want to see objective instrumented tests comparing the PP to this package. Opinions are valuable and easy to come by, but having data to back up a $1500 decision helps.

I'm personally leaning towards a BMR + Koni Yellow solution myself down the road, but we'll see.

great writeup and discussion throughout this thread. i'm in the market for a GTPP but was disappointed in the suspension bounce. i drove a $45k 1LE today and it felt nice, but the actual experience was diminished by some of the materials and the view out of the car. glad to hear if i get the GTPP i'll be able to throw this (or similar) kit at the car and get a better feel out of the car on the street and at track days.

thanks again!

The FRPP kit is $1110 shipped. Anyone know the part numbers to the Koni yellows yet?
