No idea. I have a couple brand new ones in a box, I'll check when I get home.

Thanks buddy! I have had clunking noise issue in Driver side Front suspension. Everything works as expected and torqued down and this is only thing I see that looks out of ordinary but I am not sure how this piece behaves new. Your help is definitely appreciated.

I bought the complete bearing and top mount for my kwv3's install.I didn't want to break down my original PP strutts so I didn't know how they were assembled.
I thought the top mount internal bore(with 2 grooves) fitted onto a machined surface but it just slides over the thread to a shoulder and I was surprised of how much play it had.I didn't notice any play on the bearing itself before install.

Okay, I finally was able to get to mine. I can move the green part around a little (other than spinning it) but vertically (up / down) it doesn't move. Maybe it would after use.

There have been a few threads where folks have had to have the front struts and/or strut mounts replaced under warranty due to premature failures. IIRC, I think a few posts were in the TSB subforum on here, so you might want to search out "struts" or "strut mount" on here for other threads.
