Front splash guards

Is there a decent low profile splash guard for the front similar to the HP guards in the rear? I took my fender flares off, and I'm worried about the area directly behind the front tires getting sand blasted. I do have PPF rock guards on the lower rear quarters behind the doors.

I like the appearance of the ZL1 rock guards better than Rockbloks. I added a screw partway up to help keep them on.

But to keep the rears on, I used a combo of their VHB-tape / plastic blocks and the 3 extra screws of the Rockbloks methods. Worked well.

They seem pretty low profile, and look better than the ones from AM. They're also supposed to match the trim texture. We shall see.

I’ve heard good things about CPC products over the years. Haven’t bought anything myself but I was considering that set as well. Got a little better price on the Rockblox.

I tried Rockblox front and rear.

Eventhough I have full PPF, the doors and qtr panel PPF were getting tortured by road splatter.

I have to say they are poor quality (4/10) with rough cut edges (I spent 30 min smoothing them with 80 & 220 grit sand paper plus graze with torch). Plastic clips could be way better (had one tear out from brushing against the flap too hard when wiping car, and they're not very secure). They do protect my PPF though.

There is no reason to have rough edges on $3 worth of plastic thats lazer cut in 5 seconds. They just skip the finishing step.

Screws and hardware are good quality but the nice washers would be way better with no branding. It was also a hassle to get tax compliant receipt with arrogant back office, even then I could not get their tax ID (just in case of deep audit).

Price should be $30.

I did ask them if they were made in the 750,000 people strong USA prison forced labor enterprise - they did not reply....

I would not buy again.

Very happy with my RokBlokz. There are two sizes, one with a wider front and one with a narrower front. No issues with install or retention. If you run the factory Mach 1 HP wheel lip molding you will need to do some trimming to get them to fit, same for all front splash guards really.

BTW, your source for PPF?

If using the ZL1s, avoid using the metal clip that comes with the fronts now. In my case the steel clip reacted with the aluminium fenders and I have corrosion on them now. Have since removed and looking at fixing the front fenders.

Had them on for about one and a half years...

I just got them on. I like the texture and they seem solid. I just used the clips but they recommended double sided tape to get it completely flush (maybe later. It's too fing hot).

All in all they are pretty low profile and don't stand out. Probably about as good looking as splash guards are going to get on an S550.

Note, I did not use the rears since I have the HP splash guards already.
