I actually bought something similar made out of a rubber which provides a bit of bump protection. To get 2 cars on our drive, we have to park very very close together, so I just thought this might be a good idea, in case of the an accidental continental style 'touch park'!
However, whilst it arguably looks better than dealer-fit holder, after fitting an aluminum plate, I just couldn't bring myself to give it a go. Might have a quick go to see how it looks when I take the plates off for the detail/coating in a couple of weeks.
