Considering how FUGLY the stock DRLs are, its a vast improvement.

It really, REALLY isn't.

Can you not just remove the DRL bulbs? Might throw up an error message but worth trying first. Failng that, I'd pay an autoelectrician to wire them up on a seperate switch or to the headlights/main beam. That should be a fairly easy and inexpensive job.

Any mods you make to your car are always going to be personal taste, but sticking aux LED lights on the body will look terrible.

No error message on the Dash when removing the connector of the Stock DRL bulb.

I drive now a long time without the connector on the bulb and still no error.
What did u do with the empty connector ?

End of the day mate. It's ur car. Can do what u want to it :)
I just want something that wont look like an afterthought. Yes, an LED strip wont be wonderful but it'd look a lot better than the foglight IMO.

If I could get a flexible wrap around strip or a halo, I'd be a happy chappy!
This is a bit of a crude Photoshop (mostly because I don't have Photoshop on this machine and had to use GIMP2 :frusty:) but I think this would look good if done correctly.

You should've just bought an Audi. ;)

I'm sure I saw some halo fog/DRLs mentioned on here somewhere. Probably in the euro section although it might actually have been in this thread.
The halos you can find are quite literally stick-ons OR are for smaller cars such as the Focus and therefore don't fit. I've looked around for a decent 2015 Mustang Halo kit and they're all either for the older generation fog lights or the S550's main beams.

If I could get the inner dimensions of the fog-lamp housing I could probably DIY a ring inside of them.

Like I said, the first ones I posted fit the Mustang and they fit the Focus/Fiesta which means those second ones should too.
Excellent! More stuff for my shopping list, then. :)
