Yeah I've had this. I believe it's pretty common.
Definitely saw a few people mention it before.

both front lights and both back lights do it on mine believe they're not sealed properly but doubt replacements would fix it they're probably just as bad

I've seen it mentioned too, though that's fairly bad.

If I don't drive mine for a few days that happens to my front lights. Soon disappears after being driven for a while though. Never really bothered too much about it. Haven't heard of any problems because of it.

Common problem with a lot of these poly headlights. Mine does exactly the same in the front lights, although I've not noticed it in any of the rears yet but I did notice that all of the demo's that my dealer has had, have had it both front and rear.

It was an issue on all of my recent Audi's (A6, Q7) and I had a headlight replaced under warranty on the latter, but only because the condensation was so bad that it was causing water to pool in the base. VAG's policy was that it was not a warranty issue unless the water droplets that formed were 'running' down the inside of the headlight (as this causes 'streaks' whereas normal condensation does not).

I think you'll find this issue appears on just about every car forum and unless it starts to mark the inside of the light I wouldn't worry about it, although it is bloody annoying as it can be quite noticeable.

My eyesight's not what it used to be so whether it makes any difference when driving at night, I can't really tell

PS - Good choice of colour OP (Magnetic Rules :headbang:)

Mine's exactly the same and has been since new, front and rear. I've logged it as a problem with the dealer, but not actually bothered doing anything about it yet.

Normal. There's a hole in them to allow condensation to clear.

I'm pretty sure it's in the manual that it's supposed to happen
P53
Condensation in Lamp Assemblies
Exterior lamps have vents to
accommodate normal changes in air
pressure.
Condensation can be a natural by-product
of this design. When moist air enters the
lamp assembly through the vents, there is
a possibility that condensation can occur
when the temperature is cold. When
normal condensation occurs, a fine mist
can form on the interior of the lens. The
fine mist eventually clears and exits
through the vents during normal operation.
Clearing time may take as long as 48 hours
under dry weather conditions.
Examples of acceptable condensation are:
•
The presence of a fine mist (no streaks,
drip marks or large droplets).

•
A fine mist covers less than 50% of the
lens.
Examples of unacceptable condensation
are:

•
A water puddle inside the lamp.

•
Streaks, drip marks or large droplets
present on the interior of the lens.
If you see any unacceptable condensation,
have your vehicle checked by an authorized

dealer
