It's the actual bulb part that's a bit too long. Because they're fitted in a kind of half-arsed way and squeezed into the fog light half way between the glass and the back (where the normal bulb holder is) the bulb part hits the glass, if you see what I mean? I believe you can get Konik branded bulbs from Australia that fit (on eBay).

Don’t bother with the standard P13W LED even though the plug and socket affair is correct. Not only is the overall length too long, the plastic base is too long, not to mention the diameter is too big (just about everything is wrong!). As some here, I tried filing, sanding and Dremel on the standard P13W but you have to take too much off, in the end the standard P13W falls to bits and it still won’t fit in the housing.

Go with the Konik, its tried and tested by a few here now. Mine only took 6 days to get here and about 15 minutes to fit once I had the correct size – looks far better too. Not sure why Ford aren’t putting these in at the factory TBH.

Sorry guys, I am a bit late to this and could do with a bit of a summery.

Can someone summarise (and I know I am asking again) firstly, what the lights do as standard?

Secondly, what the diode dynamics bulbs do, and add a link?

Thirdly, if I go with something like John577 suggests a few posts above, is that just plug and play and does the same (just better) as the originals?

I haven't done any upgrades in the last few weeks and I am having withdrawal symptoms, this is a cheapish upgrade I can do while waiting for my exhaust and springs

Fanks in advance!

This may help Steve,

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42444

Loads of info on the sticky's on the Europe section. Although I think more suppliers will pop up so I'm holding off for a bit.

Also complete LED upgrade here.

Not cheap just for some LED's but thats why I'm waiting a bit.

Cheers

I ordered these and they come as a pair of bulbs, here was my reponse from Blingworks

For the P13W LED bulbs they are $60 aud per pair.
International postage is extra $30 aud sent via australia post international pack and track to UK.
Please let us know if you'd like to make a purchase and we will send you a paypal request.

Yea, don't forget to share all your experience with the LED bulbs in this thread in the european section so we can have all the informations in one place

And as I said before, I tried a lot of P13W LED's bulbs and no one would fit into the housing.

The only one that would fit in place is this one (needs some mod on the fog light) :

Check here my post with my "bad adventure"

Konik DRL bulbs just landed, ÂŁ6 VAT added ... no problem with that, again though ÂŁ8 Royal Mail International handling fee. That bit grinds my gears, international handling fee my arse, they haven't done anything.
