Hi All

Under a GT, there is a flexible rubber strip that hangs down under the spoiler and body pan to stop air from going underneath the car.

Mine was viciously attacked by a ninja parking curb and is torn.

Has anyone ever replaced it?

How did you do it?

Was the part expensive?

Thanks

Don't worry about it as long as some of it is still there,Ford just puts that there to warn you that you are to close to a curb.:D:ford:

Same damn ninja got mine two days ago. Thinking of trying to glue it back together or cut out a matching section on drivers side.

You guys must have been truck drivers before you bought Mustangs.

I simply removed mine after it came half off. Cannot tell any difference in any aspect of vehicle operation.

From a previous post on here, I believe the whole lower pan has to be replaced. Great time to switch to a PP set up or go full splitter.

I was at the local Ford dealer to get something and checked the Mustangs they had on the lot. The PP front splitter looks a lot better. Really wanting to get one. Anyone replace the non PP for a PP? If so where did you get one and how much?

It has been done, but you need to replace the belly pan as well. The PP and non PP pans are not compatible.
Around $425 from ford for pan and splitter.
