Somehow, the rubber strip that hangs down from the front splitter (spoiler?) developed a rip in it.

Has anyone replaced one? IF so, how hard is it-it is a do-it-yourself job for a person with minimal mechanical skills like me?

Does anyone have one they are not using?

Thanks

Or you can repair it with black duct tape. It probably ripped against a parking curb...

It fits into a guide rail, but that won't hold it on. It is heat fused to the belly pan in several places. Not sure how much luck you would have trying to replicate that.

I'm not even sure of its purpose. Aero? Stone shield?

I believe it's an air dam designed to slow down the flow of air under the car.

You can remove it. The PP cars don't have it.
Because the aero on the PP cars is different. That piece of plastic is functional when it's included.
