Those race ramps I posted are awesome. I love mine. Plus like you said you'll get more uses out of them. They are expensive but consider what you paid for your car.So after reading into this more I'm shying away from uhaul and going to look for another trailer. At first I couldn't justify getting the race ramps for the price but then thought that I'm probably going to be able to use them when I need to change the oil in the car. So they could have a functional purpose too!
My trailer is 18' long with a 14' long flat deck. The dove tail is 4' long. The rear of the dovetail on my trailer is 17" from the top to the ground. I have 5' steel ramps and the 74" race ramps. I didn't install my splitter yet because I want the R splitter. I have about 1.5-2" clearance on level ground. I also put scissor jack under the dovetail to prevent the trailer dropping as I drive up and down the ramps. It works.Voodoo I see you have the XL ramps, I found a local racer friend who has the TR-8's that i could borrow. Race ramp website angle says they have 8.7 degree angle. Could these work?
It's about 4.5" but the splitter protrudes so it depends.I like the idea of the scissor jack! So I should be ok with the TR-8's then?
Anyone know the lowest point(height) of the car with the non R splitter on? 4"? 5"?
Distance from front of splitter to tires also factor in.It's about 4.5" but the splitter protrudes so it depends.
Correct. The approach angleDistance from front of splitter to tires also factor in.
I read somewhere here 7 or 8% angle

About 3-3/4"I actually need to know this distance. Does anyone know the distance from the front splitter to the contact point of the tire to the ground?

I'd say about 32" with splitter on. Sorry for crappy pics
