I'd never trust my car ( non R) on a uhaul trailer. I've had awful experiences with uhaul gear, up to and including the tongue sheering when i was towing a car that is approx 1,000 lbs lighter than the gt350.

I'd either pay for transport, or drive it.

So GR376 has FINALLY made it to the dealer and will soon be joining G0263 in the garage! AS the dealer is 4 hours away, my plan is to rent a U-Haul trailer to bring it home... Figure that will result in less wear and tear and will go pretty much straight to paint correction and clear bra for that little rock chip issue....

That said, has anyone trailered an R? I'm having the dealer leave the front spoiler off so as to give a bit more clearance.... Is that necessary? Will be borrowing my buddies Race Ramps to help extend the drive up and off the trailer. Suggestions?
Loaded my R (with spoiler on) into an enclosed 20 foot trailer - nerve racking but with help, the right equipment and finding a good location for the trailer, it can be done. Wanted to strap it down using over the wheel straps, but just no room in the trailer to do so, so ended up using soft, padded straps through the wheels (and covered them with additional soft towels) and worked fine.

Look at the uhaul trailer closely. The way the tire sits in a cradle then the ratchet goes over the tire, you may find the trailer will not work for you even if you get the car up on it safely
