OPTIONS FOR JACKING FRONT END ONLY?

Anyone know the acceptable places for using a floor jack to raise the front end only of a GT35o?

Have Steeda rails, but jack lists front and back wheel on that side. Only want to work under engine area and want to use jack and stands for supporting front of car only. Suggestions for back end only would also be appreciated, fotos would be very helpful!:ford:

That's what I do. I also have the steeda jack rails if I need to lift a side of the car. I am not aware of a solution to jack the rear or front of the car only. I would use either the race ramps or jack from the steeda rails

If you have an R, you will need the Race Ramp extensions also, another $100 lol

I have 6.5 degree Race Ramps as my previous C7 needed the lower incline. These are the 2 piece ramps and will work with the R front air dam. Standard Race Ramps are 10 degree incline. I paid 400.00 for the 6.5 ramps and they included 2 10" wheel cribs as it was a special at that time. DO NOT order from Amazon. Their stock is all screwed up and they only ship one side as they think 2 boxes means 2 ramps. Even though the boxes are labeled 1 of 2. I tried 3 times and gave up and went to Reverse Logic. Only reason I tried Amazon first was they offered 1 year no interest financing.

I just use a puck on my floor jack and place a jack stand on the pinch weld next to the puck, do it on both sides & the front only is in the air.

Given the profile, dimensions and front undertray, jacking on the subframe really isn't an option. If you want to lift the front end as a single operation, custom ramps are the best/easiest option. The GT 350 nose will not clear a typical auto parts store ramp.

Jacking on a pinch weld is easy enough, if you have a pinch weld puck. They're readily available and protect the pinch weld. I use them all the time, and bought four off of Amazon for less than $20.00. Since you have jacking rails, you can use the puck on a jack stand.

Another option is to place a stand with a hockey puck or similar slab of durable rubber / urethane under the front control arm mounting point, adjacent to the pinch weld on each side.
