Front Camera Malfunction

Yesterday I had Front Camera Malfunction Service Required pop up. Now the adaptive cruise doesn’t work. A quick look through the owners manual didn’t help. I had a new windshield installed about a month ago with no problems and calibration done so I’m hoping it doesn’t need a re-calibration. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Try using an advanced bidirectional scan tool or maybe Forscan to see what the code is. That should provide you some direction.

Only problem is is I don’t have a scan tool or Forscan…I’ll check with my Indy to see if there any codes.

The front camera is in the top of the windshield. It along with other parameters is what controls adaptive cruise control.

You can buy a front camera kit from Steeda. Pricy but it works great and fully integrates with the Sync system. Love mine.
