Front Bumper Pre-drilled Holes?

I wish Texas would kill the law. I have the sto n sho bracket mounted and while it’s not awful it sure doesn’t look as clean as no plate at all.

I had it in the windshield for a bit but I didn’t want to give the cops another reason to pop me. My tails are tinted and my windows are 3% and 5% so I’m whistling past the graveyard as is lol

How do you even see out? Might as well just have painted your windows black lol.

Manually flips; note the holes are underneath. I paid the dealer to do it because I have no idea what's on the other side of the skirt and didn't want to puncture a line or hose or something.

Pretty kool Rocky and thanks for posting the pictures. Has the plate ever flipped up or down when you didn't want it to?

The link I posted is the electric operated bracket. Without seeing this setup in-person I am concerned with the quality. Would hate to spend the 150$ on something that looked like Made in China.

Ha! At first I was like "oh shit this is too dark in the back". I have my truck done at 5% so I am used that.... But the 3% was noticeably different. It actually helps me when the guys with the lifted trucks and their stadium level brightness get behind me.

I had the Craig’s bracket on my 15 EB when I lived in NJ. Worked great, never had a problem. My GT/CS doesn’t need one here in SC.

I installed my sto-n-sho, there is air and plastic above the splitter. It's ok to admit you've never held a wrench.

Duly noted; now I know for the next time.And I did hold a wrench once- it spins and makes a funny noise, right?

No, you're thinking about a hydrospanner. It's used to replace the headlight fluid. Common mistake.

Yup same here. And I am about to lower the car this weekend...should be fun on driveways and the like.

Has anyone repaired previously drilled holes, and if so, with what. Ontario is dropping the front plate and I may turn the current ones in for a single, but I’d be left with taking the factory bracket off and plugging holes.

Should consider taking off the airdams when you do, otherwise you'll hear some unpleasant noises. Sounds worse than it is, but still not fun.

One thing I noticed this weekend at Cars and Coffee when another guy pointed it out - some cars seems to come with the open whereas the PP1’s are closed.

Va. is a front plate state.

I haven't run one in 3 years. It's a $50 fine if you're caught without one. I've been pulled over 3 or 4 times without a front plate, and I've never heard a word about it.

There are DIY ways of doing this but a lot of people just buy these.....

No such issues with Craig’s bracket. Also easily removable.
