It's time to upgrade my worn out 130k mile stock suspension on my 16 convertible. I've been doing alot of research on suspension and wheels since I'm also going to be changing rims to possibly 19/20x9.5 so I'd like them to clear. I'll be doing front FP links, replacing the split RLCA joints and things like that, rebuilding the suspension. Kind of torn between these 2 sets for strut/spring combo I've listed. The Ford Performace street pack set is a better price especially since you also get stabilizers and I'm all for keeping OE performance upgrades but it's a 1" drop. The steeda is a bit pricer, comes with camber plates and is labeled as .5" drop (up to .75" for convertible) so it's less drop. I'm not necessarily trying to go any lower as I don't do anything crazy and I'd like to still clear driveway humps and such. I just like to upgrade when parts wear out rather than putting stock stuff back. My car is all stock currently sitting 28" wheel arch height with 6" clearance from pinch weld to ground. My lifts at work are in-ground so you drive over the posts to use it so it'll need to clear those humps when I'm done which is another reason I'd like to not go with too much drop. Does anyone have these measurements after installing the ford performance 1" drop or steeda minimum drop springs?
