I had to buy a cheapo unit (with a switch), since the 'official' one wasn't available yet, and zero issues so far. It was recommended by the F150forum back then, and somebody posted exactly the one I got earlier on this thread. But the new 'official' one probably makes more sense now :).

The weird thing is, I already have a zero at that spot.
My original as-built value for 727-01-02 is 0000 31.
I have the twelve speaker B&O system.
Maybe this module has changed in 2020, like the BCM?
The EQ disable for that Forscan code was for the 6 and 9 some. Not the B&O.

That's what I thought, since absolutely nothing changed until 2020s (and only the BCM, I think). So for us 2019+ B&O owners, there's nothing to change then. Thank you for confirming that :).

My understanding is that for B&O owners there may be something to change, we just don't know what. We need to find the right code for us.
Probably not. Part of me is convinced that the only reason the EQ setting is enforced on the lesser sound setups is to help B&O sound better to the average person when turned up. Otherwise there doesn't seem like much reason to go for it. But on top of that, most of the lows are handled by the sub anyway so there's no reason to protect the speakers if that's the real reason for that setting.
