What is the name of the Roku app that showed delayed F1 races?
Hello; I do not know the app name. A year or so ago soon after I ordered a local fiber optic cable for my internet, I bought a Roku box. Had to return the first less expensive sort and get the highest cost box. The plan, so far not fulfilled, was to switch to a streaming plan offered my local electric power company. To qualify I had to have a top dollar Roku box.
After getting the Roku I began to use it as is without signing up for the TV package offered by the local power company. I wanted to test it out before signing up for more. Anyway, I found the Roku box has the F1 channel as part of the Roku package at no extra cost. In other words the only cost is the roku box & remote. I got mine at a local Wal-Mart. The basic cheap first box was around $30. The box I replaced it with was around $95. I cannot say for sure the cheaper box has the F1 Channel, but suspect it will. As I type, they are showing a race from 1986, Spanish GP.

With the more expensive box I have the option to sign up for various TV packages provided by a collaboration between Powell Valley Electric & Scott County electric companies. They went together to string fiber optic cable in my area of TN and in parts of VA. They offer decent packages far cheaper than Direct TV. I waited till after the Superbowl to decide if I will keep Direct or switch.
It looks like Direct will not show the F1 races. I will have to check to see if the power companies TV offerings will show them. I suspect not.

Let me repeat. I currently get the F1 CHANNEL on Roku for no extra cost beyond the initial cost of the box. Have to have a decent internet as well but I wanted that anyway.

how to watch rebroadcasts F1 2026 - Search

Hello; I understand Apple has cornered live broadcasts of F1 races and such programing. I decided to check if a rebroadcast can still be seen on the F1 channel I now get on my Roku box. From the above link I do not think so. My take is Apple has taken this away as well.
I do see the Apple TV app being available on the Roku with a paid subscription. Not good news.

I was supposed to be able to watch on F1 TV until my current subscription ran out in May but it doesn’t look like that will happen.

I'm surprised and had read otherwise.

Is your current subscription an annual paid up front or month to month with some price guaranteed until May?

Annual paid thing. Supposed to run (and always has since I moved to the US) from May to May.

It may be a mistake but it seems unusual the part I changed to red only mentions Premium while all the rest of the email treats Pro and Premium the same.

@Yorkshire_OH Is your subscription premium or pro? If Premium, sounds like you should be able to continue to watch thru May. If subscription is PRO and the above is not a typo, how can they justify keeping your money? Either way if you can't watch until May, they have some 'splaining to do.

You mentioned moving to the US. Is your subscription one you started in the US or did you have one from another country when you moved and they converted it to US? If so, I can imagine that might have confused them related to these US changes.

Subscribed here in the USA baby! I’ll do some digging and see what I can find out.
