It all comes down to them sueing Haas in the ICC in Switzerland.
Yeah, but the ICC is a criminal court. Why should it get involved in a trivial commercial dispute? If I went to the ICC and claimed that my neighbour owes me money, I'm sure they would look at me like they would at a penguin on a bicycle. Apart from the way Russian olygarchs make their money, there's nothing criminal in this affair. Or is there?

Here you go. It’s actually an arbitration court, international.

lol. I think his last wreck and how bad it was gave them no choice but to pull the plug. There setups are already stretched pretty thin. As much as I’d like to see an American driver in F1 he unfortunately just wasn’t progressing how he needed to.

Also Logan is out ☹, feel sorry for the lad, but he has wrecked a decent number of cars

Part of me wants the new guy to have as many problems as Logan, not sure why. I guess I'm just an a$$ hat.

Max Verstappen issues clear response to FIA president after steward abuse clampdown (msn.com)
Hello; Not clear that this thread is become a part of social media the FIA keeps track of. We have ragged on the stewards often enough. Not clear to me the "hate" mentioned is real hate. More like CB radio hate. Back when CB's were popular I heard lots of bad mouthing which would not have happened in person face to face.
I want to be able to bad mouth the stewards, the drivers, the TV hosts and all. I do get why drivers ought not to do so. The stewards can get revenge.
Back when the stewards and other track officials were being biased in favor of Lewis so many times we had go arounds in this thread.

NASCAR went thru episodes of this sort of thing. I think they wanted to expand the customer base beyond the core rednecks who built the sport.

Hello; Interesting practice this morning. was watching the hype about a new MB driver. He was running fast then crashed big in the middle of the hype. I have no idea what or if that means for his chances.

Doesn’t mean much. Many were getting caught out around there. He was just completely committed and didn’t have the sense to ‘feel’ it out first. It’s all part of learning. Max had many incidents when he was learning.

Hello; I enjoy that any more there is no expectation as to who will win a F1 race. Still spread among only 6 to eight cars, but worlds better than the last few years.
My computer is alight with race stories today. Probably will not read them.

Agree he has his moments. Don’t agree this was one of them. Even Gasly said it was bs. The stewards completely ignored a similar event during the race. The stewards are rarely usefull in F1. As is the FIA.

Great to see Charles winning at Monza.
Also Magnussen banned for a race was expected. The guy's a menace.

While that’s true the FIA are all over the place. Always have been to be honest. If you are warned and on the verge of a ban maybe you should rein it in a little more.

On the flip side of that though, at what point does a driver stop being a racer. To steal a line from Senna: ‘if you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver’

Hello; I get the Senna quote. I get that he (Magnussen)has wrecked and caused wrecks. I do know at least one who gets to make the call, that would be those paying for the equipment with regard to the car he drives. The FIA is in a position to help out with regard to the cars of others he has damaged.

Go for a gap and make it without wrecking yourself and others you are a hero. Go for a gap then wreck yourself ond/or others you are a jerk. Do it often enough you are a menace.

And then there is this. What a difference a year makes!!

Hello; I see you appear to have advanced Max to the level of Lewis in terms of radio whining much sooner than I have. I do agree Max is becoming adept at the practice but still has a way to go to match Lewis.
Guess any driver whose car is no longer the quickest starts grasping at straws. But if memory serves did not the stewards give Max a penalty for that very thing recently?

Actually, joking aside, I heard a replay of the comment Max made. Did not rate as a quality whine. More a statement of what he saw with a learned understanding, as witnessed by history, that the rules are enforced differently when it comes to Lewis.
