Well done, going from P1 to P4 even before the first corner.

But it wasn’t their fault. Just terrible luck.
That’s true. Not their fault today but the damage was done yesterday. Ocon even said it’s one of the risks starting so far back. If only Zhou hadn’t bogged off the start alpine might have got to the points today but could’ve would’ve should’ve…

Us Lewis fans knew that was a miraculous lap. Lewis also said that their race pace was no match for the Red Bull’s. Yes, there should have been a podium but Lando was on fire today.

Hello; the race announcers and a few on this thread got excited about the pole position. Think I even heard an "he's back" comment or something similar. Went away even quicker than I figured possible. He raced folks pretty clean so that is an improvement.

Every champion has raced dirty. Senna was no saint and one of the dirtiest drivers was Schumacher. He had a worse temper then Max and drove dirtier then Lewis and yet he is revered as the top Formula drivers champion of all time now a days. During their tenure champions like Senna Schumacher and Hamilton to include Max will be built up by fans just to be tore down to then be built back up long after their retirement.

Hello; Have to agree with you on Schumacher. During the time starting when I could watch F1 on tv I also think he was the dirtiest top racer. I cannot recall if his radio talk was broadcast so do not recall if he was a whinner.

Take a look at this nonsense. Vegas should pull the deal after this year and throw F1’s arse out.

https://www.8newsnow.com/news/local...ing-fees-threatens-view-obstructions-to-race/
This wouldn't be happening if the mob was still running Vegas instead of running F1. Just say'n.

Gonna be a great time to work for the building permit department. I mean with the bribe war between F1 and local businesses to approve or reject permits for view obstruction.

I hope business instead just all refuse to pay and we can watch F1 figure out if they want to LOSE money by building obstructions and look like idiots broadcasting a Vegas race where none of the in-car cameras and many of the fixed cameras can't see Vegas unless the obstructions are all one-way mirrors (which don't exist).

Hello; The entire concept is nuts, but one part stood out to me. The part of using the maximum capacity of a building to determine a fee. A business may have a large legal capacity but no way for all those folks to have a spot from which to see the scant bit of the race.

The term "too big for their britches" comes to mind. NASCAR did a money grab sort of thing some years ago. For years I had tickets to the Bristol races every year. Got to where I had to keep buying the tickets even if I could not use them or I would lose the next years chance to have a ticket. Tickets became very expensive also. Then they started requiring I also must buy support Saturday race tickets in order to get the Sunday race tickets. I quit going to the track.

Max is on a completely different level. He took pole with an amazing lap. But he has a 5 spot grid penalty for taking a 5th transmission. The funny thing is he was talking about grabbing that 12th win on Sunday 😂

Why is Max driving a S550? Couldn’t have been a Honda?
