Perez win notwithstanding I'd hit him with a pit-lane start in the next race. The 1st lap incident was entirely his fault and there is no excuse for this (repeatedly) from the supposedly best drivers in the world. You KNOW someone is going to be there.

what?????I’ve watch you say a lot of ignorant crap in the couple years I’ve been here, and this is right up there.. that was 200000% over hyped Leclerc’s fault. That was Perez corner for sure and had every right to be there, the reason over hype hit him in the rear tire after blowing the corner locking up

The incident was reviewed, they found no fault, and no penalties issued. Good enough for me. And by the way did you see Max back off? One second he was there and the next second gone. That had to be distracting.

be fair I believe it was just issued recently after the race. It wasn’t during. I just read about it on Crash.

you don't win a race on the first lap. And yet these numskulls (and Perez in particular) can't help but slice the nose off the car next to them. 4 more feet wider wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference to Perez placement but it would have avoided taking 2 cars out.

Sorry Matt but that's not what the replay shows. Max backed out big time. Perez saw him and moved in front of him, Leclerc thought he had an opening. He didn't. Foul on him. Checo did nothing wrong.

Look where Leclerc just after they touch. He had plenty of room. He just got in too hot.
