He is, indeed. Though, frankly, I wasn't too fond of his overt support for the BLM movement, nor of the cheap show that he put on back then, with the kneeling & all, expecting the others to do the same and commenting when some didn't. My opinion about BLM isn't very flattering, and sadly that opinion has rubbed a bit off on him when he did that.
I hear you. I think to really understand his position you would really need to have been/be in his shoes. Sometimes, as they say here in the good old US of A, he tends to "jump the shark". But Lewis, like everyone else, is entitled to an opinion. I may or may not agree with it but that's what choice is all about.

Not a Hamilton fan per se, but I don’t think he gets any of the blame. His performance is still very good, considering. With as bad as Ferarri is at communication and decision making, I can only imagine what goes on in trying to ge the car adjusted for the drivers.
The strategies are questionable. The commentators are faster at realizing what needs to be done before Ferrari react. They need to replace Ricky with someone who doesn’t sound like a robot. Maybe they can hire Danny Ric? That would be hilarious.

He's absolutely entitled to his opinion. He just needs to keep it out of F1. The race .... is way past beat to death. I'll leave alone what "blm" actually did and where all the money went alone. He does seemed to have stepped back from a lot of the nonsense which is a good thing. He's earned what he has and where he is in life due to his ability's on the track. For whatever reason he wants to be known for everything else. He should be proud of what he's accomplished.

Hello; Interesting in that somehow, I missed the BLM stuff from LH. I tend to only watch the race, practice or qualifying. My dislike of LH has been based on his antics during races. This new information only hurts his reputation. No matter what he may have thought the organization stood for, what they wound up doing stands out.

Nice one. Though I find it quite sad. It saddens me to see what this sport used to be, and what it has become. :frown:

Nobody said it was easy. It is, of course, extremely difficult. I couldn't move an F1 car even one meter off the line to save my life - which is a good thing, because if I could, I would surely crash before even reaching the first corner. Those cars are unbelievably hard to drive, and even harder to get out of alive.

But still, F1 was much more fun to watch, and to be a fan of, back in the days when it was a proper sport for proper men, who bowed to no one, rather than a lousy, politically correct TV show.
I see a few names on that list to whom none of the current crop of PR-trained primadonnas can hold a candle, no matter how many races they may win.
