Soon, no more drivers complaining about safety car going too slow. Red Bull claims their RB17 road car will lap faster than a current F1 car. If true, I'm concerned that Bernd Mayländer may decide races by extending safety car periods indefinitely by preventing racers from forming up behind.

I wonder if marshals will wave blue flags as the safety car is lapping the racers.
